SHREEBHARATI COLLEGE is the brainchild of a group of devoted prominent citizens, educationists, industrialists, professionals and businessmen of Assam. The College is run by a registered society named Shreebharati Institute of Professional Education (S.I.P.E.) bearing Registration No. Rs/DIB/255/G/55 of 2021-22.

Shreebharati College and S.I.P.E. Law College are established under the aegis of Shreebharati Institute of Professional Education (SIPE), a society Registered under Societies Registration Act bearing registration No. Rs/DIB/255/G/55 of 2021-22. The Society is established without profit motive. Hence, both the colleges are established as a non-profit earning institution.

Presently the college is offering H.S. (Arts & Commerce) and Four Years Undergraduate Programme Degree Courses in B.A. & B.Com. in CBCS under Dibrugarh University and also Distance Education in B.A. (General/ Major) & B.Com. (General), under Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE), Dibrugarh University.
